Spicy Ghost Pepper Brussels Sprouts

Saucy, spicy, crunchy, cheesy, these brussels sprouts include all the great things you could ask for. Watch out, they might be spicy, but they’re also addictive!

Ingredients:

• 1 lb brussels sprouts, cleaned and trimmed

• 1/2 cup Jerry’s hot sauce

• 2 Tbsp olive oil more for tossing brussels sprouts

• Dash of salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika

• Jerry’s ghost pepper powder to taste

• 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

 

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Cut sprouts in half and put into large bowl. Toss sprouts with enough olive oil to lightly coat. Toss with spices and ghost pepper powder. Arrange on sheet in one layer.
3. Roast sprouts for 10-15 minutes or until caramelized and crunchy. In separate bowl thoroughly combine hot sauce and 2 Tbsp olive oil.
4. Toss sprouts with sauce and stir in crumbled blue cheese. Serve warm.
            • CAUTION: USE GLOVES WHILE HANDLING GHOST PEPPERS TO AVOID CONTACT WITH SKIN.
